JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Business Development Manager hotels and office,  you are the link between commerce and the operational project teams.

You guide the client through the process from design to realization, turning an idea to a realizable project within budget and on schedule.

You are an experienced construction project leader with a commercial flair, capable of seeing through the client’s eyes and integrating construction techniques, installations and interior design.

What are your core tasks as a Business Development Manager:

  • Planning
    – From the first conversation with the client, establish a process plan to manage mutual expectations.
  • Budget determination
    – Translate a design into execution and costs to quickly establish a target budget.
  • Realization
    – From the target budget, direct the designer (external), BIM deparment (internal) and project team in developing a realizable project.
    – Once the realization starts, the project team takes responsibility for execution, with your continued involvement as needed.
    – For the (returning) client, safeguard the brand by creating a handbook and standard budgeting. you’ll guard the brand by composing a guidelines book with standardized bugetting.
  • Client collaboration
    – Monitor agreements made and act as the client’s point of contact from a commercial perspective.

WHAT DO YOU BRING AS AN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER?

You are the ultimate relationship builder with a clear goal. With your knowledge, positive attitude and client-oriented approach, you consistently surprise our  and strengthen the relationship. Additionally you:

  • Hold an HBO degree in Construction Engineering
  • Have at least 5 years of experience within the construction sector
  • Experience in repurposing of existing (monumental) buildings, renovating hotels and offices is a plus
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Have a strong network in the construction sector is a plus
  • Are independent and proactive with strong strategic insight
  • Proficiency in at least Dutch and English
