JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Operations Manager, you are responsible for the daily operational management of various hotel projects. With your knowledge and expertise in large hotel projects, you ensure that the projects are realised within the agreed time with a high-quality end result. You are the connecting factor between different departments and guide the team where necessary.
What you’ll do as Operations Manager:
- Managing and coaching a project team consisting of Project Managers and Project Engineers
- You oversee large-scale projects and make adjustments where necessary
- You test the projects on a technical and financial level
- You monitor the capacity, budget, time and quality of current projects
- You are continuously optimising the design, engineering and execution processes in the department so that completion projects are realised within the set deadlines
- You monitor good communication and cooperation in order to achieve the organisational objectives
WHAT DO YOU BRING AS A OPERATIONS MANAGER?
Through your knowledge, organisational skills and coaching abilities, you know how to bring projects to great success time and again. In addition you have:
- A completed HBO education in construction, engineering or business administration
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience within the construction sector, including several years in a managerial role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Financial insight and problem-solving skills
- You are proactive, independent and decisive
- Proficiency in the Dutch and English language.
